I was at a LARP (Live Action Role Play) with my friends today.

They had made a LARP about Huntsville, Texas, USA. So it was about a murderer that had killed his wife and burned down the house after. He had been in prison for 5 years after it before he was gonna be executed. That's where the LARP started.
They had split the room into different parts. One Prison Cell that the murderer was at all times, 1 room next to it where the guards was, 1 execution room (With a table that the murderer would lie on that injected posion in him. They even made the switch to start it and a microphone to record his final words!), 2 rooms for the relatives to watch (One for the relatives of the murderer and 1 for the relatives of the victim.) and 1 flashback room that had green spots to it where you would see stuff from the past. The roles was 1 murderer, 1 victim (She appeared as a ghost that talked to those she knew, for the most part the murderer. They could not see her, but hear her as a voice in their heads.), 1 Priest/Journalist (He played both roles), 2 prison guards/executors, 3 relatives of the victim and 3 relatives of the murderer.

They turned on lights for specific rooms, which indicated when the people in that room should play. Then they turned all lights off and on with the green spots for the flashback scenes.

I got the role as the murderer! As I wanted before I went there! At first I wondered why there was no fights for the role, I was the only one who wanted it. Of course I figured out it's because it's the hardest Character that's mostly in play. But that didn't border me at all. He was fun to play as I could be a lil bit psycho, angry and rather evil. They bragged much about me for it as I was the first they've seen play a murderer role and actually be trustworthy and mad instead of forgiving and shit. T'was fun to hear.

So during it, I was for the most part in the cell, talking to the ghost of my wife, the priest, the guards and myself. But was also in most of the flashbacks. One of them all of them bragged about after the LARP. The part where we saw the victims sister talk to me in the prison a short time after the murder, wanting me to realize what I did was wrong. But I surprised them all by being a total crazy mutherfucker that smiled and said she deserved it. HAHA I made the girl completely pissed off XD In character of course... Then during my cell time that was off the flashbacks, I slightly realised what I did as I was close to death and the ghost haunted me to tell me to forgive to god. (None of us was actually religious, but this was supposed to be in Texas.) So during my final speech, I apologised to my sisters (Which I could not see, but knew could hear me), god and my wife before I died. Was really quiet after it.

Such a sad LARP, yet the best I've been in to now! Worth this long mention on deviantart!
